- Self-powered from DC power adapter with max 60W for host, max 85W for host and Hub
- Support Smart Power which enables to flexibly distribute power to PC and Hub in real time according to the consumption of connected devices, to take full advantage of provided power from the external DC power adapter:
- more power will be dedicated for charging the host if the downstream ports of the Hub consume less power
- when the power consumption of the Hub and the connected device increases, the power dedicated for charging your host will decrease accordingly

For the first time this Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 modern Hub has 3 Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 downstream ports that allow you to cascade Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 devices to one 8K30Hz or two 4K60Hz monitors, it can also easily connect to any USB Type-C device, all while simultaneously charging the PC. Besides, it supports Smart Power function which enables to distribute power according to the power consumption of the connected device, making full use of the external power supply. It is designed for Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 based PCs and Thunderboltâ„¢ 3 based Macsâ„¢ utilizing MacOSâ„¢ 11 and later versions.
