Der Mantel ist halogenfrei und flammwidrig, die Kupferadern sind paarweise geschirmt, der Gesamtschirm besteht aus Kupfergeflecht. Die geschirmten RJ45 Stecker sind mit einem angespritzten, sehr schlanken Knickschutz sowie Rastnasenschutz versehen.
