Extralink PERSES is a 10-port PoE switch with 4 modes of operation: AI QoS mode, AI VLAN mode, AI Extend mode, and smart power mode. The AI QoS mode is ideal for use in monitoring, it makes the video data processed with the highest priority to ensure smooth image quality.


Port separation using VLAN functions
AI VLAN mode makes ports 1-8 are isolated from each other, which can effectively suppress broadcast storms and improve network performance.

Power supply for cameras up to 250 meters and real-time monitoring of equipment operation.
In AI Extend 1-8 mode, the ports can effectively transmit data and PoE power up to 250 meters, which is ideal for monitoring systems, cameras and access points. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects the operating status of the connected device and when it detects that it is not working properly and automatically restarts the device.

How does the PoE switch work?
The device supports the IEEE 802.3af/at standard, which automatically detects and identifies PoE devices that comply with the IEEE 802.3af/at standard and provides power to them, there is no need to worry about the possibility of damaging a device that does not need power through PoE if the switch detects that the device does not comply with the 802.3af/at standard and does not provide power to the device.
