Music is around everywhere we are – at home, in the car, at work, when shopping, and at school. We love to start the day with the sounds of our favourite hits in the background coming from good-quality audio equipment. To meet these needs, Blaupunkt is launching a new MS45BT compact micro system, with an ecru lightwood-housing-finish effect. The MS45BT incorporates a CD player, which reads both conventional audio and MP3 (ID3 tag), and also WMA files saved on recordable or rewritable discs (CD-R/CD-RW). It comes additionally with Bluetooth functionality for the easy playback of audio files stored in the memory of all mobile devices, like smartphones or tablet computers. The integrated tuner with digital PLL synthesis allows the storage of 50 radio stations, so you only need to set up your favourite frequency just once, and not every time you turn on the radio. The tuner also features an RDS system for transmitting additional information by radio broadcasters to be displayed on receivers, including the station identification, song, or programme title currently on air, and the bang-on time. All the features of the micro system in play by the user are shown on the LED display. An alarm clock is also available to be programmed, so that your appliance can wake you up at the time set. Meanwhile the sleep timer makes sure the device turns off automatically after the time set has elapsed. You can set the clock manually or switch on the automatic synchronisation mode, with the time signal transmitted via the RDS feature. Beneath the display are function buttons and a large volume dial. Further below there is a USB port, which lets you connect a variety of USB flash drives, and play songs stored in your personalised music library. You can also play back playlists from your external sound sources, including a laptop or MP3 player, to be connected through the AUX input right next to the USB port. The appliance features convenient control, both directly from its front panel, and using the remote control supplied. With five pre-set sound settings – Flat, Classic, Pop, Rock, and Jazz – the equaliser built into your MS45BT makes it easy for you to adjust the tone of your favourite tracks to your musical preferences. The MS45BT boasts excellent sound, thanks to the extremely efficient amplifier, which generates peak music-output power of up to 300 W. The RMS power is 50 W per channel. Finished in lightwood-effect veneer, the speakers can be arranged in both vertical and horizontal positions to form one whole with the central unit. The built-in transducers are shielded with traditional cloth grilles. Combined with the case made of material replicating natural wood, the light creamy colour of the system front and speaker grilles create an elegant combination which perfectly suits any space you choose to use it in.
